I love the background style so much and the pose and expression are so perfectly creepy. (also the title reminds me of 'Dogs are not allowed in the dog park. People are not allowed in the dog park... Try not to look at the dog park, and especially do not look for any period of time at the hooded figures. The dog park will not harm you.)
creme another annoying question, if you don't mind (and if this is answered already in an FAQ of some kind, please forgive me), how do you get your lines so smooth? are the lines still done traditionally then transferred to PS where you color it? I must know, because everything you do is fabulous :v
In regards to that, I'm trying to do a similar method for my drawing but that way I do it takes me hours. How do you get the lines to scan clear enough so you can add the colours without them being discoloured by the page? (I hope that makes sense ) Also how do you get the lines to scan so dark?
I make my lines clear by being careful when I draw them, just practice I s'pose. As for them being dark I just darken them in photoshop too. I'm sure if you use google you can figure all this out just was easily by searching 'how to color pencil lines in photoshop' hun
Thanks for the tips~ Also I love love looove this picture I've been wanting to commission you for so long but I need to finish the reference picture for my character. Some time soon I hope we can work something out
Your use of texture and color for backgrounds is absolutely fantastic. Gosh the more I look at this the more I feel like I'm in a horror movie. You seem to know how to get characters spot on. I've never been let down by your art when I commission you. you know just how to bring the characters to life! Your style is amazing.. his face is one of my favorite things in this piece Thank you again so much for doing this for me. You are fucking perfect <3
